A 2-year part-time course empowering students with the Arabic skills to understand the meanings of the Quran directly in the Arabic language. Students who complete this two-year course can move on to the Quran in-depth Course to complete a full coverage of the Quran. The content for each year of the course is:
First Year of Quranic-Arabic Intensive (40 sessions)
- Arabic Grammar 1: Word analysis, Arabic Sentences, Most common Arabic fragments
- Morphology 1: Six foundational Verb Scales & Root Letter Analysis
- Morphology 2: Introduction to advanced verb scales (mazeed feehi)
- Arabic Readers: Grammar and Morphology readers aimed at improving fluency, building vocabulary and establishing Arabic sentence patterns
- Quran Study: A study of the short surahs incorporating linguistic anaylsis, tafsir, and contextualising the key messages
- Personal development and spiritual advice: Sharing the Prophetic teachings and drawing pertinent lessons dealing with the issues of our times
Second Year of Quranic-Arabic Intensive (40 sessions)
- Arabic Grammar 2: Comprehensive coverage of gramatical concepts
- Morphology 2: Complete study advanced verb scales (mazeed feehi)
- Arabic Readers: Intermediate readers aimed at improving fluency, building vocabulary and establishing Arabic sentence patterns
- Quran Study: A study of the oft-repeated surahs incorporating linguistic anaylsis, tafsir, and contextualising the key messages
- Personal development and spiritual advice: Sharing the Prophetic teachings and drawing pertinent lessons dealing with the issues of our times
