• All classes that are taught in class are simultaneously broadcast on Zoom for students to follow LIVE.
• Videos of all the classes are uploaded and accessible to all students for self-paced learning.
• Online learning will supplement onsite learning pending any unforeseen interruptions

Students are expected to have a basic ability to read Arabic. Even if the student is able to read with difficulty this will be sufficient to join the course.

No, we do not teach Qur’an reading, Tajwīd (correct pronunciation) or Hifth (memorisation). Our focus is on teaching Arabic to understand the meanings of the Qur’an.

Classes are held at Mountview Mosque (Warden Crescent) in Cape Town on Sunday mornings from 8:30am to 12:00pm. We generally have 1-2 Sundays off during the school holidays and Ramadan.

All classes are video and audio live-streamed and recorded. We also email students all the presentations, worksheets and links to the video and audio recordings of each class. In addition, students are also able to book a private tutor at a nominal cost.

In 2024, classes begin on Sunday 21 January 2024 and we ask students to register before then. However, we will keep registration open beyond this date as long as we are able to accommodate students in-class or online. We also invite students to sit in the first class and observe before deciding to register.

Yes. Prospective students are welcome to sit-in during any current classes and observe a class before deciding to register. Please contact our administration to arrange an observation slot.

You will receive a confirmation email with further information including our banking details.

Yes students may interchange between attending some weeks online and some weeks in person as suits them best. Our recommendation is that students attend in-person where possible.
